Interest Area

1 Digital Image Forensics
(1)Facing the application of the judicial needs and the construction of the social credit system, and especially for the characteristic of the digital image being easy to be tempered, we study the passive blind forensics technology of digital image. Through the analysis and researches on the intrinsic statistical characteristics of digital image, we construct the feature space which is suitable for the identification and detection of the content authenticity of digital image, and we analyze the influence of the typical tampering and forgery operation on the feature of digital image, and also we study the method of accurate positioning of the detection and tempered forgery area of the tempered forgery digital image.

(2)In the aspect of integrity of the judicial evidence supervision chain, especially for the problem of source identification of digital image, we study the identification technology of access device type, access device model as well as access device individual of digital image, and also we use pattern recognition and machine learning to construct practical digital image source identification system and improve the judicial evidence supervision chain.

2 Image Steganography and Steganalysis
(1)For the steganography, we study the objective description and evaluation of the privacy and security constrained by digital image statistical feature model in which JPEG, BMP and so on are typical based on digital image statistical feature, then we constrain the safe image steganography algorithm based on statistical feature model.

(2)For the steganography, especially for the secret decision problem whether the measured data is hiding secret information, we respectively construct the targeted and generalized steganalysis detection algorithm from the extraction of the statistical characteristics of steganalysis and the research and design of the classification and so on, then we construct the steganalysis assistant decision system.
